We all agree on the fact that it's illegal to use copyright materials (text) from the internet or from anywhere else and copy past them to your own website. I think clearly everyone understands that, even though, they take the risk to do it.

However, it often happens that you don't have time to update or write some new content for your website. In this case, many webmasters turn to free articles so that they can add something new for their returning visitors.

Note that adding a few free articles to your website is definitely a good idea if you want to bring in more visitors or if you haven't had time to write some new content yourself.

Free articles for reprint have been very popular these days. There are no doubts about it; a lot of people use it. However, this act, in the end, creates some problems with the search engines. Hence, using free articles for your website can sometimes be actually problematic.

So it's no secret everyone knows that on the internet, there are certain websites that allow you to use free articles published by webmasters, for your own website. While this seems to be a great way to enrich the content of your web site, however, there are a few "catches" that you should be well aware of.

Just think for a second, the number of people who use free articles from the internet for their own website. Indeed, there are dozens of websites who often end up publishing the same content over and over, and they mostly, most of them, use them for Google Adsense ads because a lot of them don't bother writing their own content.

Be careful not to fall in the trap. This is why Google has to filters all these web pages in their search engine. Some websites are even getting penalized and removed from search engines because they tend to abuse this right.

Keep in mind, the search engine of Google.com, Yahoo.com and Msn.com are getting smarter every day and soon, they will simply ban everyone who publishes duplicated content constantly.

This is why I've always insisted that search engines love unique content. By submitting your duplicated Web pages, you are not only "spamming" their search engine, but you're also putting your web site in risk of getting banned, which is something that must not be ignored if you want to build a serious website.

If you think it's OK to use free articles all the time, you certainly won't be able to build a serious website and that is, if you don't limit yourself. Besides, sooner or later, your website will eventually disappear from search engines. So try not to abuse a lot.
